We are looking for Teachers with a mindset for learning, the skills of instructing, and the personality to lead. Teachers who are open to new ideas, challenging the status quo, and leading change efforts in their schools and in the city.  Candidates must be current Baltimore City Schools teachers who are planning to teach in kindergarten through second grade in the upcoming 2019-2020 school year and hold a valid, active Maryland State teaching certification in either early childhood education or elementary education.


The Fellowship will include an intensive four (4) week summer term (July 15th - August 9th) that includes academic learning, engagement other organizations and individuals and, project based work to design solutions to problems in early childhood.  Fellows will learn from leaders in the field of improvement as well as leaders in the community and the school district making change and leading early childhood change efforts citywide. Following the summer term, fellows will meet monthly for collaborative sessions and participate in calls to support the work at schools. Fellows will be compensated for their participation in the summer term and throughout the 2019-2020 school year.  Fellows will receive a $6,500 stipend for their total work.
